When i research cars online, I get a lot of reviews about how the honda accord is a better overall car than the toyota camry. Why does the camry have more models sold than the accord in 2008? I'm not trying to say that one car is better.

i think more for the style it looks very luxurious and far from all the good crash test ratings and better off the fuel efficiency too

the camry had better crash test results. safety can be an issue. Honda's have issues with their automatic transmission. i'm a mechanic so I experienced a lot.

Hi,
Reviews are one thing, actual sales are another. Camry has become the Japanese Buick, so older people tend to gravitate to them because of their reliability. In fact, Toyota has become so sedate in their designs, they had to spin of the junior make Scion to attract younger buyers.
Toyota's reputation for quality is the biggest selling point. Even more so than Honda. So, despite reviews, Toyota comes first, followed by Honda.
