I've been married twice. Neither one of my husband's was complimentary or very affectionate to me after I married them. I wanted a man who would hug me and cuddle me and talk to me after sex. It didn't even have to be after sex--it could have been any time of the day or night. I have always understood that men like sex, want sex, and I delivered it in the best way possible. My second husband told me that his first wife (I was his second) wanted him to say how much he loved her all the time and he just refused because he thought he'd be "trashy" to act that way.
