Ok, I am referring to Semitic Jews, which are in fact, the original Jews. It all started in the Middle East, right? So therefore..
@Jason Bright: When I say Jews I'm referring to people descended from the ancient Israelites from the bible. So based on your updated text, the ancient Israelites were just a group of people from different ethnics (majority from the Middle East/Mediterrean area?)
