Why do Liberals whine about Tibet and how those people are treated when...?

they say that we should have never invaded Iraq to stop Saddam from doing the same things (and much much worse things) to his own people?
 
I don't know, why did we attack Iraq when 15 of the 911 hijackers were from Saudi Arabia?, and why don't we go after N. Korea, we know they have WMDs and would love to use them on us?.
 
I'm not a Liberal and I don't like the way the Tibetan people are treated. Tibet had always been a sovereign country until the Communists took it over in the last days of WWII. Mao didn't like the fact that it was the spiritual capitol of the Chinese people and as long as they were separate and free, he did not fully control the Chinese population.
 
It is not "whining". No liberal is suggesting that we invade China.
We had sanctions imposed on Iraq. With Tibet they are expressing their objections to China's policies, not saying we should invade. So i don't think you have a point about this at all.
