those laws talk about we have worship only one god and etc.. I can't understand this part of the judaism because I have read the Judaism is not a proselytes religion then why are they preaching those laws? and where in the bible it says that? 7 seven noah laws.. according to what I have read.. they are taken from the torah code. if I can't be a jew but I can be close to them through the noah laws.. that's the point? because you have to be jew by born not by choice..
I am not a troll.. and I am asking this because I have read an article about these laws and it is confusing for me..

Answer: The laws of Torah are for the Jews. The Seven Noahide Laws are what define "Beni Noach" (Children of Noah), otherwise known as "Righteous Gentiles"

Here's a link to a website that has a good explanation of them: http://www.auburn.edu/~allenkc/7lawcomm.html

First you can convert to Judaism & be 100% Jewish. It is not exclusively a birth thing.

Second, you don't have to follow Noahide laws. IF YOU want to adopt a Jewish concept of what a non-Jew needs to do to be seen as good in God's eyes then this subset of the 10 commandments are important.

There are various interpretations of the Noahide laws & on the one's I've read, they don't say you need to worship one God, just not multiple Gods. In Orthodox Judaism, the worship of Christianity FOR CHRISTIANS (but not for Jews) mets standards because you are ALSO worshipping the essential abstract God. (This is complex to explain.) The laws themselves are briefly written, so there is interpretation needed to even decide what they really mean. Therefore, various Jewish sages of the years have difference in their writings. Some minor, & some may matter more to you.

But again, if you don't want to follow these & don't believe in this Jewish concept -- Jews aren't going to come after you & try to convince you too. (Well, if you're into eating live flesh we might make a secular movement to stop it.)

Bottomline, this is non-Jews who ASK Judaism what is needed in our eyes to be seen favorably in God's eyes. Since we don't ask gentiles to become Jewish in order to be acceptable -- these are the standards for gentiles (non-jews). It's a way to follow Judaism's beliefs while not being Jewish.

However, Judaism doesn't believe it has the only path to God & doesn't spend time evaluating everyone else's paths. We're too busy with our own religion.
