Why do I only attract weird freaky loner guys?

I'm 18 and in college.
I've had a couple of boyfriends, and they were both really really attractive, really intelligent, all the other girls were jealous. However, they were 3 years apart. In between, I'm constantly stalker by weird loner sad guys. I mean, technically they should be amazing. One opens doors for me, tells me I'm beautiful every day, and basically worships the ground I walk on. He's everything that I wanted my boyfriends to be (those relationship failed because they didn't communicate or pay enough attention to me - one left me when i was dangerously sick to play paintball). But with the niceness the guys that want me are just too clingy! and weird! and cry too much! Why can't the normal guys want me? Is it me?

No, it isn't you, they just took a shining to you.

You'll find a surprising amount of inexperienced guys in college, seemingly normal, often fairly attractive guys, who just never dated in high school or at all. When you have absolutely no dating experience, you can come across as clingy or awkward without realizing it.

I say give him a chance, what do you have to lose? You may be pleasantly surprised.
 
It's not you for sure but you need to give them a chance to let them know what you like and what you don't like and by giving them a chance I mean talk to them more share more and help them to be better if they were that bad.
the thing about dating is knowing each other and realize how is this person cares for you and is he or she showing it.
you wont lose a thing by giving a little more time and if it didn't work then you can always walk away
do you know why you will always find the right one in the end ?
because after you find him you will stop looking for more.
mostly it's luck but still work for it to deserve it.
