Why do I keep getting expired mail up on my Yahoo news page?

I keep getting expired mail up on my Yahoo news page. How it this possible? Why am I not getting today's news, but rather news of a month or more ago? And don't say, log off and then log on. I have done that loads of times.

And of course, how can I correct this?
