why do i keep comparing my book to twilight? HELP`?

im about done with my book, its really a rough draft and i would have to go back and revise some parts. what im having a problem with is i keep comparing my book to Twilight. I dont even know why, my book has nothing to do with vampires but it is a supernatural book that involves teens. pretty much another YA book. i think im having second thoughts on finishing the revising process because it will never have the potential of being a great series like Twilight.

what should i do? and am i being ridiculous?
