Why do I have to re-register my Sony Bluetooth keyboard (VGP-BKB1) when using

for both my PS3 and my Laptop? I have a new Sony bluetooth keyboard (VGP-BKB1) that I want to use for my PS3 and my laptop. But after using it for one, it is not recognized by the other. For instance, I first registered it to use with my laptop after opening it and then i registered it with my PS3, all worked fine with each separate device. But then, after a day or so, when I turned on my laptop it was not recognizing it as a BT device (PS3 was OFF). I had to remove and re-install it on my laptop. I have to do this each time I want to use it for each of the separate devices (PS3 or my laptop). IS THERE A SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM, or do I have to spend another $100 to get another keyboard?
