Why do i have a sharp pain in my armpits?

for the past few weeks i have been getting a random sharp pain in my armpits. i have had the same deoderant for years, and there are no lumps or razor burn. this usually happened to me when i got nervous or scared, but now it is happening more often.. what could be the cause of this? and how could i stop it from happening?
