...Sony Vaio VGN-NS230E? When I try to install any version of Windows that is Sp2 or under I get a BSOD right after it loads the drivers. I read that changing Ahci to ide in my BIOS would fix it, but there is no option in my BIOS to change anything. What could be the problem and how can I fix it?
I Am trying to install a fresh copy of windows xp professional. Vista is too slow for me. Could I get it to work if I input the hard drive driver into the windows xp installation with nlite?
