Why do I feel uncomfortable when I tell people my parents are paying for my University..

...education? So everyone is taking out loans at the moment and people ask me 'how i'm coping with the financial' difficulties and how big my loan is but my parents are paying for mine and I have no debt at all... why does this make me feel uncomfortable?
 
probably because you have it just handed to you while most people worry about where to get the money since their families aren't as well off as you. you shouldnt feel ashamed or anything, i mean your lucky to have that. but its just natural i guess.
 
Stop telling people. It really is no one business but you & your parents.

You don't have to answer those type of questions. Personal questions like these are really a bit rude.

You may feel guilty since your family is not suffering the same financial problems as them. There is no shame in having your parents help you when they can.

Just live up to what they are paying for & do well in University. Be thankful you have no debt to carry for years & years.

I think it's because most other students have to pay for their own student loans and the fact that your parents are paying for yours makes you feel a little snobby or embarrassed perhaps because it makes it seem like you can't pay for your own loan or your family is rich and you 'get everything you want' kind of thing.

I think you should try to forget about feeling awkward. You're lucky that your parents are this kind and forthcoming. If anyone asks just say that your parents are helping you out. No one needs to know anything more about your financial business. That's personal.

Your are unique, and people do not like unique people. but you are not alone who do not take loans, me too, but step father also doesn't want to pay for my education, so I am searching for job.
You should be proud of yourself, and thankful to parents.
