Why do GM bulbs seem to go out faster than any other brand?

Hey There.

Do they use cheap headlight and taillight bulbs or something. I always see a GM at night with at least 1 bulb out. I'm sure it is not a coincidence either. Thanks.

you're right, I've never seen a suburban/tahoe without at least one of the driving lights on the front bumper not working (including mine). They use generic bulbs, so I don't think thats the problem. I think the poor enclosures that let water in and loose(cheap) connectors that hold the bulbs leads to their early demise
