Why do girls think geeks/nerds/dorks are weird?

I don't understand. I'm a funny guy & know how to joke around with others. But why is it girls think we are weird? I feel so betrayed right now cause I thought the people I liked were laughing because I was funny.
Yet, someone told me they were really laughing because I was "weird".

girls do like nerds sometimes (me) that's how i got a boyfriend and hes a nerd actually hes and computer nerd he like computers and stuff and i think thats hot so dont get your hopes down and keep trying
