Why do girls say they like "mysterious" guys?

mysterious guys - doesn't actually mean - keeps secrets

it's not secrets - some dudes are hard to figure out.....it just takes a lot of time & maybe sometimes you just can't figure some dudes out!
 
I would hate a mysterious guy! If he didn't tell me something, I would feel like he's got something bad to hide, and I would feel paranoid. I like a guy to be honest with me, I hate it when he keeps secrets.
 
I'm only mysterious until you ask questions and start getting answers. I rarely volunteer anything unless I can trust the person I am dealing with completely. And even then, I might not give up all the information about myself there is to get right away.

It is about trust, it is about the other person expressing interest, and it is about how honest you think that other person really is.
