Why do gay guys always complain about where they live?

I can't stand when gay men make excuses like "Oh I live in the country not many gays here" or something like that...I mean, have you see brokeback mountain??? lol! I'm sure there are gay/bi men in your little town...I mean, i HATE where I live now (Cincinnati) I used to feel like there are no gays here because I used to live in Ann Arbor, MI which is like the gay capital of Michigan and I got here and i just thought life would suck..but turns out..plenty of gays here too!!
