women and men get paid the same amount in the same organization when they do they same job with the same experience. of course a male doctor or lawyer is going to make more than a female waitress
women are no longer required or shamed into being decent mothers and wives.
women can vote
women are VERY liberated sexually, to the point where they have affairs just as often as men do
women have total control over their reproductive tracts....they have more say than the other person in the reproductive equation. they can kill the baby or have it, and force the man that didnt want it to pay out the azz for it.
women have far more legal protections in every aspect than men.
and any more i forgot.

the wage gap is a lie thats been repeated enough that people believe it.
BTW if you see wage discrimination in your job and you dont report it...youre breaking the law.
