Feminists and gays/transgenders are aligned in their agenda since both face discrimination...Feminists argue that males and females are the same aside from their genitalia and reproductive organs. However, gays argue that they are "born that way" and it is completely nature/biological. This is the same for transgenders.
I am taking a Womens Studies class in which the teacher simultaneously argues that women and different because of social construction but we would be "intolerant" if we even entertained the idea that gays became that way through social construction.
