Why do evangelists give out pamphlets instead of cookies?

Cookies would be more persuasive. The pamphlets I get try to evoke emotion but fail. I would better remember a cookie.

Pamphlets I find are always at work are in the can for some reason. I guess they take a holy crap and leave them where they think people will find them. Even though technically by then, the pamphlet is "flagged".

Maybe they should make cookie pamphlets, where they give out cookies with their main points on it. That way, everyone who doesn't care gets a free cookies, and they still think they're saving souls.
