Why do Democrats fail soo hard at public education and then abandon their children?

It seems as though across the nation Democrat public funded schools are failing. When they fail, they abandon their children (150,000) and dump them onto a conservative school system of (45,000).

Why do democrats fail so hard at public education, with more funds, then abandon their children? Then expect Conservatives to save their education?
