I applied as a transfer applicant to another college and I got in. However, when I compared the financial aid packages from my original school (the one I plan to leave) and the one I want to go to, there was a major difference. The school that I want to go to is giving me MUCH less financial aid. They did not give me a Federal SEOG grant and they did not give me any scholarships. At my old school, I received about $2,000 in scholarships. What is up with that? I really needed the financial aid because my family is in an extremely bad financial situation now. At this rate, I may just stay at my old school and ditch this new one.
