Why do Christians quote Bible scripture to argue their point?

See, in order for one to give a f*** about what Bible scripture says, we must first believe in said Bible scripture.

I prefer getting my info from more up-to-date books with irrefutable evidence supporting the text. Im not that interested in what your sky pimp has to say unless you can provide undeniable evidence that its real without using an ancient book of myths.
@Appentance:
Nice try, but theyve been updated, bud.
@Manifest:
There has been natural phenomea where Allahs name has appeared, its even in the side of your index finger, is that enough proof for Islam? Not to me..

i know, hahah.. they love to do this. I think it is low IQ.

This link shows that they have lower IQ on average.

If they were smart enough to quote a credible source, they probably would be to smart to be theist.

the fact that you like up- to-date books proves that the information you rely on is ever changing. The bible is pure truth and it never changes

2 Timothy 3:16
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,

Where else does our authority come from, but yet you Atheist quote Darwin, what does this do for me, since I do not believe or worship Darwin and evolution???

Laminin dear this molecule is shaped like a cross, and keeps our bodies together, is that scientific enough for you???

Belief or lack of belief does nothing to change reality. The bible is the inspired Word of God, this is proven by historical accuracy, fulfilled prophecy, and many other facts. How "irrefutable" is your evidence, in reality? Scientific theories are just that, theories, they will be updated and changed or thrown out within decades if not sooner. Not only that, but how can you actually trust the word of man? You believe it because its written in a book...

Life and all existence bares witness to an origin. And that origin is God. Not some random, accidental, "tiny hot single-cell point that was magically floating there pointlessly, and suddenly decided to explode 'just because'. lol, yeah, you can keep your laboratory fairytales to yourself, kiddo. Thanks.

If you prefer to remain ignorant, that is your choice. You should know that all those modern sources you claim to put faith in got their information from Bible standards though they will of course, deny any plagiarism.

1) Why do Christians quote Bible scripture to argue their point?

For the very same reason that a chemist or engineer will quote the CRC. Christians accept the Bible as an authoritative reference regarding the Christian religion and the nature of God.

2) See, in order for one to give a f*** about what Bible scripture says, we must first believe in said Bible scripture.

Agreed - but when you ask a question of someone who deems the Bible to be an authoritative reference, it is absolutely natural and reasonable for them to refer to that reference - just as a chemist or engineer would refer to a CRC whether or not you accept that as a valid reference.

3) I prefer getting my info from more up-to-date books with irrefutable evidence supporting the text.

That is your prerogative - just as it is the prerogative of Christians to use the Bible as an authoritative reference.

4) Im not that interested in what your sky pimp has to say unless you can provide undeniable evidence that its real without using an ancient book of myths.

The simple solution, then, is to inform people of this before they do so.
