Why do Christians here always whine that atheists take the bible 'out of context'...?

but Christians never bother to explain it "in" context?

So Christians -- here's your chance: Please explain (in context) the scriptures below describing the bloody slaughter of infants because god wasn't being "worshiped" to his liking:

Samaria shall become desolate; for she hath rebelled against her God: they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up. (Hosea 13:16)

Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives raped. (Isaiah 13:16)

Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. (Moses - Numbers 31:17)

Thus saith the LORD of hosts ... Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and as$. (1 Samuel 15:2-3)

Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones. (Psalms 137:9)

Yea, though they bring forth, yet will I slay even the beloved fruit of their womb. (Hosea 9:16)
Mountain Man: People like you are precisely WHY I'm asking this.

So, way to utterly fail at addressing the question!
Ishtar: Why would a Perfect God ever need to "sit on his grudge"?

Per Jesus' teachings, such 'grudges' are a human flaw that we should shy away from, are they not?

Why does your god need to sin in order to punish sinners? Sounds mighty hypocritical, doesn't it?
John K: Harsh? Hitler was harsh as well, killing countless innocent people. How is your god any better than him?
