...right and what is wrong? Why must they always take offense? They alway MUST post scripture. They never can answer without scripture or imposing their beliefs on other people. Can't they just give their OWN opinion. Sure, their opinion may be influenced by their religious preferences but, do they always have to be all, "GOD, says blah blah blah". "Scripture states, blah blah blah".

Can't they just say something like, PERSONALLY I BELIEVE _______

Personally I think sexual desire, masturbation, pornography and all that jazz is perfectly normal, just what you do with/about it is what can cause it to be wrong/right/

Hopefully this one won't get reported like my last question did. I honestly want to read people opinions on this not cause trouble. I just asked this question in a different way like 10 min ago and in 10 min it got banned.

Be open people, don't be so close minded or hurt by a question.
I'm Catholic, I'm just saying why do they get way so involved and defensive about questions. That's why I'm asking. I don't get all upset and start quoting scripture about stuff. And It IS a question. Want me to clarify?

QUESTION (RIGHT BELOW)

*******************"Why do Christians get so uptight about sexual questions and why can't they answer with their own opinions why must they only use scripture to answer questiosn? "*******************
TO idiotzai.: Right, a Christian probably didn't turn me in it was probably a JEW right? Like how Judas turned Jesus in? Like that you mean?

if you don't like the answers stop asking the questions
you don't get to define how someone answers it...

first of all dont classify all christians as one.
im a christian, but i have sex and am completely open about discussing it.
everyones different dont throw everyone whos a christian under one umbrella.

i dont think god would approve of me having sex but i try to follow him and i believe fully in him and he recognized were not perfect and make mistakes.

Because most cannot say 'Personally I believe' with any conviction. Christians MUST report what the bible says as an authority. It is the basis of the entire religion. There can be no personal opinion involved to be properly aligned with doctrine.

I am compelled to speak the truth that I perceive. These are not my beliefs any longer but what I learned when I was indoctrinated.

Because it is a scriptural question. Because of the Bible I personally believe that all sexual acts outside of marriage is nothing more than just plain old sin. We are all sinners but as a Christian we can not condone or justify sin. We must recognize it for what it is and try not to do it. When we fail we again must recognize it and not try to justify it and try not to do it again. It is as simple as that.
