I am tired of walking on eggshells around Christians. I was walking my dog, and some guy started talking to me about God and Jesus. I said that "Dog is God spelled backwards and for all I know my dog is God and therefore I always treat every being I meet well because anything could be God". He cringed and told me I should not blaspheme.
The thing is I didn't see this as blasphemy because it is my belief. So I ask why do Christians expect me to respect their beliefs yet they offer no respect for my beliefs?
Christians even go as far as trying to convince my 4 and 6 year old that there is an imaginary spirit in the sky that keeps track of everything we do.
Do Christians ever respect the beliefs of others?
