Why do Christians feel they have the right to judge gays?

So I know it says that homosexuality is an abomination in the Bible, but it also says that if a woman is not a vigin on her wedding night she should be killed.

Why do Christians feel they have the right to judge?Only God can judge, really.

So why is the whole gay thing the hot topic? It says lots of other shit in the Bible that no one cares about....
 
Christians believe that they have the right to judge everything, poke their noses into everyone else's business and impose their bronze age superstitions and practices on the rest of society.
