Why do cheerleaders always get stereo typed?

In DISNEY movies CHEERLEADERS always get put in the mean/snobby/stupid/bully role.
Why?
Did anyone else notice that?
I don't get it, I had straight A's on my last report card. So I'm not stupid. I don't get my joy's from torturing people, so I'm not mean, why do people hate cheerleaders?
If you call them a bad name, there's a reason why. Just please put a reason if you call them a bad name like :
Person:There snobs

Me: Why?

Person:Because.....?
 
most of the time they are use to getting alot of attention from people... especially guys! so they are use to it and they don't want anyone else to get "their" attention. I'm a cheerleader and im not like that..that's just what i see.
