Why do business majors need take to take Calculus?

I just am curious as to why we need to take calculus. I am taking it now, I am really good at it but I wanted to know why I need it. It seems like are very few business jobs that require calculus. Can someone please tell me?????
 
I am not a business major, but I took business calculus. It was mostly determining compound interest and other functions that are related to business. Seems this kind of calculus would be very relevant. I would rather be looking at half-life etc. because I am a science major, but i was told business calc was easier.
 
Well. It is the basic on which a lot of knowledge is built. Believe me, it is extremely important. When you go for higher education (MSc and above), you will realize how life can be impossible without it!!
