when Bush toppled the Iraqi dictator and fostered in a new 'democratic' government in Iraq, didn't he want 'democracy' to spread all over the region? wasn't that the purpose of our invasion once we realized there were no WMD plants in operation?
when the people of Iraq elected an Islam-led government, I don't recall any of the cons freaking out about it (our tax dollars support Sharia law in Iraq)
the neocons should be ecstatic over events in Tunisia, Yemen, and now Egypt
right?
why shouldn't the people who live in Muslim nations want to be able to elect Muslims to lead them? that is what happened in Iraq... our tax dollars are paying for a MUSLIM LED GOVERNMENT in Iraq, so what is the big deal about a Muslim led government anywhere else in the Middle East if the people elect them into office?
