Why didn't Roger Waters have a part in the Division Bell by Pink Floyd?

I never really listened to the division bell much but i recently found out that David, Rick, and Nick were the only PF members that participated in making the album and going on the tour. I cant find out why anywhere on the internet, does anyone know?
 
Because by that time he had quit Pink Floyd. He just wasn't getting along very well with the rest of the band, what with his big ego and all. But, you gotta love him! He's amazing..
 
After recording the Wall, Rodgers left the band. By then they all wanted to kill each other. As a matter of fact, the only reason the Wall got recorded is because they were all broke and afraid to break up. See if you can look up 'Guitar World' magazine October 2009 issue. There's a great article/interview with Gilmour/Mason/Waters. It'll explain it all.
