For all you die-hard PBS fans, you all know that as of 2009, WGBH has used its flash of doom logo since 1978. the version I'm talking about is the one that played at the beginning of shows from 1978 until 1993 and has "Boston Presents". Well, in August of 1986, this version was shortened to the abridged animation and just the rising synth chord. How come it was shortened
