Why did the US attack Europe during World War II?

Do Americans know anything other than hate and violence? Why would they invade an innocent people like Europeans and leave their continent in ruins???

To evict Hitler, of course sometimes when I see the way Europeans act towards the US, I sometimes think the US and ailed forces should have left him there awhile. God bless.

Oh, poor little misunderstood Adolph. That bad man Winston and his equally devilish American counterpart Franklin should have just left the National Socialist alone.

The U.S. didn't attack "Europe". We went to war against Germany and Italy in WWII (and the other countries in Europe practically BEGGED us to help).

It seems apparent from your question that you are uninformed about the US role during World War II

The US entered the general war as a result of the attack on Pearl Harbor by the Japanese on December 7, 1941, prior to that date the US was officially neutral. But the US entered against Japan and did not, declare war on Germany. Germany by then already captured Poland, Austria, and France. However, a few days after Pearl Harbor, Adolph Hitler (Germany) declared war on the US, thereby putting an end to the US dilemma concerning its allies in Europe. After a meeting between Churchill and Roosevelt, it was agreed that the British and Americans would have a "Germany first" policy.

Hey idiot, the people we fought against in Europe, just happened to be marching Gypsies, Jews and Slavs into death camps, in order to gas them. Are you sad that we beat your little nazi asses?
