Why did the concentration camps happen in the Netherlands?

Were the Dutch mostly atheist before or after War World 2? What are the Dutch doing to ensure that it will never happen again. Is being an atheist the solution, is it an effective solution.

Do you need to be an atheist to get it right?
Um where do you think Anne Frank was from New York? There were camps in the Netherlands.

This question is a slap in the face to the dutch!!!! There were no concentration camps in the netherlands--in fact--when the nazi's decreed the jews wear a star of david--the dutch royalty came out wearing a star of david--and then many of their subjects did as well--making it difficult for the nazi oppressors. The dutch resistance fought the nazi menace effectiely. If atheists behaved the way the dutch did in the second world war--then I'd say atheism is a good thing.
