Why did she die?(ball python- didnt eat for two wks after moving to a hopper...

...from a fuzz thought she was read)? Ufo (Yoo-foe) was the first snake I had ever cared for other then a friends. She was my baby girl and my heart and soul. The last few days have been so hard because I just buried her today and I found her still under her log two days ago. This last week I noticed her urine was very yellow and just two weeks ago it was normal and white. She had been drinking her water almost regularly I even made sure she drank from her fresh water when I refilled her pond. I had her for almost two years and she had been perfectly fine. She was maybe two and a half to three years young. I kept her tank (which was 30 gal. And she was 2 and half to 3 ft) between 78 and almost 90 degrees because I had to manually regulate the temp myself. I made sure she always had a cold spot because she loved crawling into the corner of my bed where it was cold. Last month I thought I was losing my mind or just being a worried mom because her color went from a medium brown/green to a lighter yellow green. She had a dark liquid leaking from her mouth when I found her dead. I thought it might have been blood or purging her bowels after death but i'm not sure how that works with reptiles. She didn't eat for two weeks prior to her passing and during feeding she didn't seem interested so I thought I would try again later. When she did eat about a little over two weeks ago I moved her up from 3 fuzzies to a single hopper per meal. I'm not sure if I jumped the gun and she wasn't ready to eat bigger mice, and maybe it caused internal trouble. If anyone has any real vet experience or knowledge on reptiles please reply and I would appreciate if those who don't like reptiles would refrain from commenting. Thank you <3
