For years, while I was growing up and all through college, I had severe allergies to all kinRAB of things - particularly ragweed, animal dander, and assorted other fall allergens. It was bad enough that I took allergy shots for three years while I was in college. After graduating I joined the Army and was stationed overseas (in England) for two years. By the time I came back to the States, my allergy problems had become minor (and have stayed that way) compared to what they were before I left.
I understand why allergies can improve dramatically with a change of location, but does anyone know why the improvement would be permanent?
