Yesterday, I was driving back and forth between my place and my friend's house to move boxes. When leaving his place, I started up my car, it then rumbled heavily for a second before the engine shut itself off. The instrument panel and the lights lit up, but the engine died. I turned it on again, but gave it a little gas for about 15 seconds or so, then started driving, and it was fine after that. I turned it on this morning with no problem. I want to derail this from happening again, but am unsure where to begin. I'm not sure if it could be the fuel filter which, according to my dad who gave me the car, was never replaced. I have a K&N air filter which might need to be cleaned which could help. Anywhere else I should consider?
