why did i miss my period but the tests say im not pregnant?

I missed my period. It's been over a week since I should have had it but the pregnancy tests I took (3 of them-2 were walmart brand, and 1 was from the dollar store) all say negative.

The time between ovulation and when you get your period almost never varies. The time between your period and ovulation, though, can vary greatly.

Your period comes about 2 weeks after ovulation, which can occur anywhere from day 6 to day 30 (or later) of your cycle. There are a ton of things that could delay or even prevent ovulation, including stress or illness.
