In December I was studying in a coffee shop, and observed the people there. A young lady sat down in one of the two seat table across the cafe from me. Later, an old woman came in, and sat across her. They were conversing with each other. I couldn't tell if the young lady was her grand daughter but she was speaking to the elderly woman.
A couple days later I was studying again at the same coffee shop, and this time the elderly woman came in alone. She sat not to far from me. I did noticed she had alzhiemers disease. She drank her coffee and she was a little fidgety because she was looking around, eventually turning her body to face the other side. I wanted to go company her but I didn't... I was watching her while trying to study but my tears began to get watery and my nose was running to. I smiled at her. When she left I said bye to her. She seemed like a kind, sweet old woman.
I felt so bad that I didn't keep her company. I also felt like a terrible person not to assist her, because she has AD. Did you ever have such empathy for a stranger?
My eyes began to get watery*
No, lol I didn't have a cold. I was actually crying.
