Why Did FORD Survive Who Did Not Take Bailout Money?

While Chrysler and GM are both about to go bankrupt who did take bail-outs, Ford is fine who did not take our money? Next week these companies may claim bankruptcy so I guess all that money WE GAVE THEM- we ain't getting back! Gee- all that for NOTHING! Do you think Obama will get any flack from his supporters or not?
When they go bankrupt- does that mean the layed off workers get nothing? Or do us Tax payers have to give the layed off workers even more money?

I'm thinking that the reason Ford survived is that its sales did not decline as much as the sales figures for the other two companies. Ya think?
