In his PhD dissertation.
Hey Daniel Brou. Why did you lie about Michele Ruta’s real contribution to your dissertation and give Joanne Yiokaris false acknowledgment in your dissertation? Do you have no idea how your dissertation got written?
Joanne Yiokaris didn’t get your dissertation written; Michele Ruta did get your dissertation written. And you got the sole academic credit for his work. You steal from him. You steal from me. I see a pattern here. You lie about Joanne Yiokaris’s “contribution;” you lie about Michele Ruta’s real contribution. You lie to me about writing a letter of recommendation and perpetuate the lie for several years. I see a pattern here.
Daniel Brou misdefines “market structure” in his dissertation as the absolute number of firms, but the concept relates to the relative market power of each of those firms in addition to number of firms.
He is also confused about Joanne Yiokaris’s supposed “belief” in his dissertation. Since Joanne Yiokaris has no idea what his dissertation is about and cannot read it, she didn’t contribute to its writing.
This theme of confusion is further evident in the use of different theoretical frameworks for the dissertation. Daniel Brou uses one theoretical framework relating to the European integration and another theoretical framework related to the Canadian informal economy.
He dissertation is further confused in that while he thanks Joanne Yiokaris nowhere does he thank the actual co authors of the articles that he gets full credit for in his dissertation.
