Why did casey hurt her own daughter?

i really dont understand how a mother would do this does anyone have any idea why she did this?
 
I think any sane person will have trouble understanding how a mother could hurt her little baby. Don't strain yourself over it. Casey is a compulsive liar who cares for only herself. One theory is that Casey was jealous of Caylee. Jealous of how she thought people loved Caylee more than her. What a selfish attention seeker.

Because she was young minded and didnt get over the stage that when you have a kid you get kicked to the back burner.. Thats just the way it is. And the comment on her being to pretty and she was framed by the grandmom,, have you been watching this all along.. That is the problem she is pretty so no one wants to hold her accountable for the killing of her beautiful baby girl.
