National Labor Relations Board (NLRB)? Senate Votes Tomorrow to Confirm Radical Union Activist

Currently, Craig Becker serves as Associate General Counsel to both the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) and the American Federation of Labor & Congress of Industrial Organizations. Becker was part of Obama’s transition team, acting as a member of the Agency Review Team overseeing the Department of Labor. According to an entry posted on the National Association of Manufacturers’ ShopFloor, Becker is believed to have authored one of the labor-related executive orders issued on January 31, Notification of Employee Rights Under Federal Labor Laws. http://www.dcemploymentlawupdate.com/2009/04/articles/agency-changes/obama-to-nominate-craig-becker-and-mark-pearce-as-nlrb-board-members/

Hmm... Craig Becker is a senior attorney for SEIU, and a vehemently anti-management union activist... wonder how impartial HE will be with NLRB binding arbitration?

Either Obama's team knows what it's doing, in which case their nominations mark a total leftist, and often socialist, statement; or they are not vetting their nominees at all.

Which do you think it is?

i wrote to my senators to ask them NOT to nominate Craig Becker. My senators are so liberal, though... it's probably like whispering into a blizzard. My voice won't be heard... but my vote will be felt during the next election!

So, to answer your question, Barry nominated Commie Becker because he mirrors the philosophy that Barry himself espouses. Barry is very radical.
