Why cant you become a Top Contributor in Polls&Surveys and Jokes&Riddles?

Why not? the Polls&Surveys and the Jokes&Riddles sections of Y!A are just about the only 2 categories on Y!A that nobody is allowed to be a Top Contributor in.

Can anyone tell me why Yahoo does not want anybody to be a TC in those sections.

Is it because they think that you are not helping people by answering those types of questions? Am I mistaken? Aren't you helping people out by filling out thier Surveys and Polls, adn completing thier Jokes and thier Riddles?

Really? You need 500 Best Answers? the last time I checked you didnt have to have that many.

I have seen Top Contributors that arent even close to having that many Best Answers.

I am a TC and I only have 306 Best Answers so far.
 
They ARE the only 2 that you can't get TC badge in. The YA staff allowed it in the beginning, but there were just SO MANY people in those 2 sections, not really 'contributing' anything to the site except silly chatting and other things that technically were violations, so they discontinued those 2 badges.
 
I'm a top contributor in two sections, and don't have anywhere near 500 best answers combined.

They probably aren't allowed to have top contributors because the sections themselves are too trivial. The contributions made aren't considered significant enough to merit the orange badge.
