Instead of 8 periods of high school, why can't they just teach 3-4 two-hour classes like in college. Then alternate every day, so a high school student takes only 3 classes of one subject per week.
I took summer college classes and I had a higher GPA at Southern Methodist University than in my high school. I learned more about science in summer school than taking one year of science in high school.
I found it extremely hard learning English and Math in high school because the classes were so short and I had 7 homeworks a day. I wouldn't get C's in my math and science class if I could focus at least one day to just studying them.
