Why can't Republicans do anything but complain?

Are they incapable of offering any solutions to our current problems? Prove me wrong repubs. Offer something other than complaints and calling democrats and the president names.
Yeah, McCain also nominated clueless Caribou Barbie, wanted to suspend his campaign so he could "focus" on the issues, all the while stating the economy was sound.
Essie, I think my party has done a pretty good job coming up with ideas. I'm still waiting for yours.
Boozette, if someone assaulted me first, loosing a finger would be the least of your worries.
 
I agree, the Democrats have all the ideas.

However, the fact is that most of them, especially involving a federal health care plan, are totally unConstitutional.

I know, you don't really care about that. I happen to think it's the most important thing, because without the Constitution, we would have a government without any limitations whatsoever, which is the definition of "tyranny." I don't want that to happen. Health care may be important, but it isn't as important as being Free.

So here's my idea: If you want federal health care, go get a Constitutional Amendment first. Don't destroy the only chance of remaining Free that we have by rendering the Constitution irrelevant.

I'll still think its a bad idea, but it wouldn't be one that would destroy us entirely.
 
I'm with you. I have never heard so much whining in my life. They have nothing to run on. Their tank is empty as are their souls. By Americans electing a democrat and black man to the highest office in the land, has completely destroyed their view of what America should look like. The majority of republicans are white anglo-saxon and they would prefer to keeps things that way. I'm reading on other posts here that they will keep their children out of school the day Obama speaks with them. They have no ability to change with the prevailing winds. What's got their goose really cooked is that it has become more apparent than ever who they truly represent. The people take a back seat and the special interests and corporations do all the driving. In my mind, they are a joke as a party and should not be trusted to do any of the people's business. Name calling is all they are really good at. We can give them a star for that.

Are you deaf? Have you not heard the calls for FREE MARKET solutions? Tort reform? Allowing competition by buying health insurance over state lines?

FIXING the economy by LOWERING taxes, not increasing them...
REDUCING the government, not expanding it!...


I think you only hear what you want to hear. Republicans have been offering solutions for a LONG time... including back in 2005 when McCain ACCURATELY PREDICTED exactly what would happen to our society if we didn't regulate Fannie and Freddie (and the DEMS shut him down!)

They know their wrong and have nothing else to offer.If a politician has sex ,drinks a little alcohol,or anything else they are a criminal.God forbid vote for pro-choice. When you go out the door you could be arrested for anything. You have to have a lawyer tl live in this society. Let's vote for people who are human and admit they make mistakes like smoking a joint now and then.
 
The only way your socialist democratic party will ever think of compromise or looking at different answers to solve a problem is when the other side agrees with them. You are spewing what your socialist leaders tell you instead of looking at the facts. There are now indidviduals that are breaking out of the political lying that takes place on both sides and speaking the truth that made this country great, not communist propganda. If you look at the definition of communist the answer refers you to socialism. You are saying that there have been no options submitted? You are blind and your question proves it. Start your research in areas that are not communist related. If the government can give you something, then it will also take something away. Its called FREEDOM. Stop being the enemy of the United States and be the Patriot the Constitution allows you to be. If people like you don't, this country is DEAD.
 
Independent, but how cute of you to accuse others of calling names and then do so yourself. How about you tell us what is so good about this healthcare bill and we have an actual debate? Or is that too much for your little "oh my" mentality to wrap around?

yes. We Democrats did nothing but support the Bush administration and its horrible policies. For the healthcare reform, no republi-con ever thought of tort reform, caps, free market insurance. It is purely a democratic idea. We came up with that cash for clunkers idea-which completely saved the auto industry and revitalized Detroit. And our stimulus package which put all Americans back to work and kept our deficit controllable.

Democrats don't complain. We hardly think about Shrub or Darth Cheney anymore. Yes, those republicans do nothing but call names.
