Why can't my xbox 360 connect to my pc, but my pc recognize my 360 for media sharing?

Trying to get my 360 connected to my desktop, Home Basic Vista run pc. Windows Media Player 11 does recognize it in Media Sharing. I have it enabled. But when I try to get anything from my pc on my 360, it doesn't recognize or find my pc on the network, even though the pc recognizes the xbox. I've opened all those ports in my firewall and that fun stuff. What do I need to do?

Try installing a media server like TVersity on your PC. Your XBOX should be able to find it after you enable sharing in the Tversity app.
