Why can't my computer play these games/perform?

Okay so, I'm a pretty huge gamer. Not exactly the kind that expects the best graphics or anything considering the only games I really play are free mmorpg's.
Recently, my old computer finally broke. It had Windows XP, and I don't remember the graphics card but it came with the desktop. I had that computer from maybe 2003 - now; not too sure.
What I'm a bit annoyed about right now is that I got this new computer. Here's its dxdiag:

I'm freaking pissed because this newer computer can barely run the games that my older computer was able to do. All the free mmo's that I used to play, I would have to play on minimal graphics with lowest resolution, and even in those settings I would lag. What's wrong with my computer?!
