I have a 5 yr old daughter turning 6 in May, and we have been trying to help her learn to ride her bike for nearly a year now and she just never improves. Our older daughter 7 yrs old now learned when she was 4 yrs just like normal we got her a bike with training wheels she used it with the training wheels for about 5 or 6 months then we took of one training wheel then two and shes been great ever since but with our younger daughter she has been on training wheels now for nearly a year and still no improvement we have taken one wheel off but she just relies on the one wheel and we have tried taking both training wheels off but she just can not balance we help her by supporting her shoulders and trying to help her get the feel for it but I have now just come to accept that she just can not do it. What should we do? Doesn't every one know how to ride a bike? Please help I don't know what to do, and yes through all of this we have been very encouraging, patient and supportive but we are just not getting anywhere with it even after a year, also she cant ride a scooter properly either, she has been using her scooter for about 6 months now and she just leans on the foot she is pushing on, our next door neighbors kid is only 3 yrs and even he can ride his scooter properly.
