I logged into my PayPal account which I haven't logged into in years. I constantly bought and sold things through PayPal. I went to eBay and purchased two things, that totaled just under the $8 I had in my PayPal account. I go to PayPal and it will not let me use my money. It demanded I verify a new credit card first, which I provided. It was unable to verify twice in a row. After checking my bank account, I notice two pending charges from PayPal that I did NOT authorize.
Now it demands either I apply for a credit card or I provide bank account information just to get my $8 which is already in my PayPal account. I am a disabled veteran and I get my disability payments from the VA directly onto my Master Card. I am unable to use electronic checks with this bank and I can only use my card as debit or credit.
Can somebody please help me hear? PayPal made two unauthorized charges to my account when all it said is that it had to "verify" my account and did not say anything about anything being charged. I cannot find any way to contact them. Not to mention they provide a link to ask a question in their forum, yet the forum log in link is broken. I am seriously pissed off and frustrated at PayPal right now, you have no idea.
