Why cant I send messages to a mobile device from my mailbox with the New Mail?

I open the contact. The number of the device appears, but when I click it it says "Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (ymsgr) isn't associated with any program."

Never happened like this with Classic, and Explorer sends me to a unopenable site.
